Equal Pay Day
April 2 marks Equal Pay Day in the United States. This symbolic day represents how far into a new year woman must work to match the salary men earned the previous year. In other words, the average woman must work from January 1, 2018 to April 2, 2019 to match a man’s salary made working January to December 2018. What can you do to raise awareness of the gender pay gap? Check out ways to get involved!
